Jaguar have announced important additions to their XF range of executive cars.

The Jaguar XF was, for the Midlands based manufacturer, now owned by the Indian company Tata, a big departure in style from tradition, whilst keeping much of that tradition in quality and driving experience.

It has recently been awared the title of 'Executive Car of the Year, by BusinessCar. Which is not bad at all!

Paul Barker, Editor of BusinessCar, said 'Jaguar's XF has proved its appeal to the business car market with appeal to both the heart and the head thanks to its stylish looks and good running costs. Jaguar has worked hard to improve the car's attractiveness to corporate drivers with the excellent new 2.2-litre engine, and is making further improvements that will only enhance the XF's chances of retaining this award - decided by the readers of BusinessCar - in 2013.'

Now, Jaguar has launched two new models to add to their winning team. They are the SE Business, and Sport, editions.

Jeremy Hicks, Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover UK, commented: 'These are the only awards voted for entirely by the business car industry – it's a fitting demonstration of the popularity of the XF, its desirability and engineering integrity that the readers of BusinessCar should vote for it to once again win its category. Through our relentless programme of design, technical and value enhancements, typified by the SE Business and Sport models announced today, we aim to continue this success.'

The SE Business model is fitting with the newly released 2.2litre diesel engine, producing 163PS. It has satellite navigation complete with a seven inch touchscreen and HDD mapping. This is in addition to the standard specification which includes intelligent start stop, a 400W sound system with DAB digital radio, leather and suedecloth seats and bi-Xenon headlights.

The Sport model gets a little more grunt from the 2.2 diesel engine, giving out 190PS. It has the aerodynamic pack seen already on the Diesel S, which comprises of a revised front bumper, a black grille element, side sill extentions, a subtel rear boot lid spoiler and a black rear valance.  This is intended to give an elegant, yet imposing, look.

Inside, the Sport features half leather suedecloth seats, bond grain trim and dove contrast stitch as well as electric driver and passenger adjustment. Piano black trim with 'Sport' decals on the centre console are joined by stainless steel foot pedals. Practical additions include a heated front windscreen and front seats, a front parking aid plus a reversing camera and 60/40 folding rear seats.

Both the SE Business and Sport can be ordered now with prices starting at £31,500 (On the road) and £34,950 (On the road) respectively.

This is an important range of cars for Jaguar, and these models are designed to widen the appeal of the car by increasing choice.
